Characteristics:
As the name suggests, these anchors are designed to provide significantly greater holding power than conventional anchors of the same weight. They generally feature long, wide flukes that dig deep into the seabed for superior resistance .
Official Classification:
AC-14 Anchor: A popular design with massive stabilizing fins. It offers excellent stability and rapid digging, with a holding power ratio reaching 12–14. Commonly used on超大型船 (very large vessels) and Ro-Ro ships
Delta Anchor / CJ-17 Anchor: A plow-shaped anchor with excellent penetration in various seabeds. The Stevpris (developed in the Netherlands) has a holding power ratio of 17–34, making it ideal for offshore platforms

Danforth Anchor : Features a stock at the crown and sharp flukes, achieving a holding power ratio of over 10. Often used on engineering vessels
HHP anchors are critical for offshore and heavy-duty applications where performance is paramount.
